Taught by Augustin Roch, Studies Department Manager of the company, in the major ‘Strategy and competitive intelligence’ at the School of Economic Warfare, this class on social and dynamic matrix lead to group works. Students analyze the logic of informational attacks and generally of influence.
The report about the analysis of informational attacks against the milk industry in France is an example among others of the expertise of Spin Partners and of the students of the School of Economic Warfare, in terms of decoding and of decision aid.
Executive Summary
The attacks that call into question the healthy benefits of milk consumption are made of essentially sanitary-based arguments. From an economic point of view, the milk substitutes (like soya for instance) benefit from these attacks, without threatening the milk industry market leading position. We aim at confining these substitute products to a niche market. The political representatives pay no attention to this debate and leave space to the milk opponents for occupying the information space.
In this context, it is necessary to look for a commitment from the politicians in favor of milk producers. To do so, association with unlikely partners, lobbying on a European level as well as local scale and a new appropriation of the historical heritage concept shall increase the public opinion empathy.
